GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Arizona Coyotes have traded goalie Louis Domingue to the Tampa Bay Lightning for forward Tye McGinn and goalie Michael Leighton.

The trade, introduced on Tuesday, ends Domingue’s blended tenure with the Coyotes.

Domingue performed properly at times as Mike Smith‘s backup previous period but struggled this period soon after new No. 1 goalie Antti Raanta experienced a pair of lower-body injuries. Domingue went -6 with a 4.33 aims-against common ahead of Arizona obtained Scott Wedgewood in a trade with New Jersey.

McGinn has 9 aims and 8 assists in 89 career NHL video games with 3 teams, together with Arizona in 2014-15.

Leighton has appeared in 110 NHL video games with 4 teams, going 37-43-14 with a 2.98 aims-against common.
